At least Klein sold oil and gas

Wow, I thought Alison Redford was a cold-hearted harridan; she has nothing on Jason Kenney. Taking money from disadvantaged Albertan’s (CORE) and giving it to an inept, corpulent group of public relations cronies (war room) is heartless and unforgiving. This is the same man who saying he will proudly sell Alberta’s last barrel of oil before 2030.
Ralph Klein choked rather than invoke the notwithstanding clause during the Vriend case, blew up hospitals, laid off nurses and teachers, but at least he sold oil and gas.
How are we supposed to get oil to the coast without pipelines, rail cars or trucks? Can someone explain why selling oil bearing rail cars at a loss of $1.3 billion is getting Alberta’s product to customers? Alison’s sky apartment was only $1 million and that got more media space than any war room to date.
Bah humbug, Jason.

And remember, at least Redford increased AISH.
One of the first announcements before Kenney’s 2019 budget was how the UCP was going to cut the AISH “cost of living increase” that was legislated (Bill 26) with the previous government. And three days before the election the UCP told Albertans that they would not change AISH or deindex it. (link below)
The sad reality is, the people with disabilities on AISH are the ones paying for this so-called “War Room” through the AISH cut. I think it’s time people started asking Barnes and Glasgo, “When will we see any benefits from this War Room?”
I think by cutting the AISH legislated increase hurt our local businesses and economy. Just like when Redford increased AISH and then Notley indexed AISH backdated to 2015, that money was spent in our community. It went to support local businesses to help pay their bills and staff employees. So not only did the UCP’s cut to AISH hurt people with disabilities, it also hurt everyone in our community.
The AISH cut to Alberta’s most vulnerable and disadvantage is something the UCP must be held accountable for in 2023.

Ian You are dead wrong as oilmen, lawyers , accountants , bankers and former MLAs will tell you , Klein literally gave it away as this article proves. I suggest you google it:

Klein’s father Phil said to me “Al what in the hell is the matter with that son of mine? While he gives away billions in oil royalties and taxes to benefit his rich friends he is forcing us to try to live without a proper health care system. This could cost some people their lives.”. Phil was right it did as the lawsuits prove. My father was almost one of them. Both Klein’s father Phil and daughter Angie tried to help us vote him out, knowing that what he was doing was wrong.
Les my daughter helped write that AISH Program for Notley, knowing help was needed. She has worked in that department for 21 years.
The only way Kenney gets away with it is, “he created a cult” and unlike Jim Jones, he’ll charge you for the Kool-Aid.
