Children will inherit the mess we created

Child abuse in the name of climate change?

From a reliable source I have the information that Earth is flat and Elvis is still alive; that carbon emissions over the past 150 years has not gone up and that there were no record-heat years for the past 15.

All this according to a scientific paper published by an accredited scientist from Lower Slobovia not surprisingly endorsed by President Donald Trump, who claims to be a stable genius and man with great and unmatched wisdom. Who can we trust if not a president?

Children are marching on the street demanding action on climate change. The rumour goes that the real reason for the march was an upcoming math exam and a convenient way to avoid same.

Now the question arises what is “fake news”? A hint: Anybody who does not believe in climate change is just re-arranging the deck chairs of the Titanic. I would advise the deniers to buy a canary, which have been effectively used for many years in coal mines.

Wind generating power over priced? Contracts for wind generations are now as low as 3.9 cents which leaves a healthy margin between the buying and selling price of Medicine Hat at 6.8 cents.

As for the children? They will inherit the mess we created. Is it any wonder that they are protesting? How dare we?
