An evil agenda is bing promoted in our country

Re: “No to Trump in ’20,” June 24 There are shades of conspiracy in the Medicine Hat News publishing such a biased editorial from the left-centre Orlando Sentinel in the city where Donald Trump opened his 2020 campaign for re-election. In step with most of the Canadian media, the News can’t say enough bad things about the president of our southern neighbour. The conspiracy is to demonize Trump in order to take Canadians’ minds off the real issues facing our once great Dominion. It might be nice to have our political leaders follow some of Trump’s successes. A case in point is his willingness to invite born-again Christians into the White House to pray with him for God’s blessings on America. You will never see Justin Trudeau invite born-again Christians into 26 Sussex Drive to pray with him for our Dominion. Why would he? Instead, he likes to pray with the strange gods of Islam, Hinduism, Sikhism, Catholicism, etc. The real bad news is there doesn’t appear to be any real alternative to the Liberals. Andrew Scheer and his Conservative Party of Canada will be just as politically correct as Trudeau and just as globalist. Scheer has already announced he won’t do anything to combat Canada’s shocking abortion statistics. What else won’t he do? God help Canada. So don’t waste time worrying about American politics. Agree, except Andrew Scheer IS the best alternative to the current joke of a prime minister that we have now.
The fact is we can’t get anyone with any common sense, who will listen to the people, to run as leaders anymore. It’s become all about power, and filling their pockets with the people’s money and looking after the well being of their rich friends. The UCP in Alberta are a joke and the people who elected them should have listened to what was being said about them. I can’t wait to hear their ignorant excuses for electing this very corrupt government, whose members are being fined and investigated by the RCMP. You can’t tell me Jason Kenney didn’t know what was going on and did nothing to stop it. While their supporters try to pretend what great conservatives they are they elect well known Liberals and don’t care. Bashing Liberals while you are supporting one, pretending to be a conservative doesn’t make you look very smart and you’ve done it twice.
The fact is Kenney and Scheer aren’t true conservatives. They have adopted the Reform Party policies and there is a huge difference, so why would you support them? We all know the Reform Party is all about forcing the people into a lot more privatization and looking after their own well being and that of their rich friends, and Kenney is already proving it.
As much as I don’t like Trudeau I’m certain he is a better choice over Scheer. I think he will destroy our Public Health care system, like Ralph Klein and Ed Stelmach warned us Harper was trying to do.
This right-wing only mentality that so many Albertans live by is why we are in this mess we are in. You don’t see it in other provinces.
