No surprises in Jason Kenney’s picks for cabinet

So Cypress-Medicine Hat UCP MLA Drew Barnes and Mayor Ted Clugston are ticked off because Medicine Hat got left out of the cabinet. No real surprise there. The premier is playing to form, surrounding himself with Calgary oil company lawyers and federal Tory apparatchiks, the sort of people he’s always thought he was elected to serve. Pretty much the only people in the cabinet who don’t fit that mold are the minister of education who is a rabid anti-abortionist and serves to further Mr. Kenney’s personal agenda and the minister of the environment who’s there because…? Maybe the premier’s intimidated by big men with guns or something. Politics. Don’t ya just love it? Ken Sears Medicine Hat 9-8
