Only four people seen at earlier protest

Re:”Hatters protest migration pact,” Dec. 10 I drove by that protest and counted a total of four people. All four of these people were displayed in this article using three large close-up colour photographs. In addition, there was no mention of the actual number of protesters in the body of the article. This pattern of omission and attention indicates either the type of clear bias that should be restricted to the editorial section, or else a paper failing the community by trying to jazz up a non-issue. Either way, this is an example of poor journalistic ethics that the News should be ashamed of. Joel McNally Medicine Hat (Editor’s Note: The protest lasted for about two hours.
