Danforth killer’s family should be deported

By Letter to the Editor on August 8, 2018.

I am upset that the media are trying to make the Danforth murderer, Faisal Hussain, as the victim. The true victims were the 12 people shot and the young woman and girl that were killed.

Recently, the Medicine Hat News published two editorials from the Canadian Press, one from the Hamilton Spectator on Aug. 1, and the other from the Toronto Star.

These editorials both stated this murderer was mentally ill, however the only statement to this effect was a press release by a Muslim spin doctor, not the family or the police, within hours of the release of the murderer’s identity, Faisal Hussain. There has been no issuance of medical reports to prove this.

The media have talked about the troubles of the Hussain family and how the elder son is in the hospital and has been in a coma for a year. However the mainstream media has failed to report that this coma was a result of a drug overdose. There have been other media reports, which the liberal media have ignored that this brother was a gang member. When his brother’s apartment was searched it was reported that a very large amount of carfentanil was found as well as in excess of 30 illegal and prohibited firearms, brought in from the United States. The mainstream media feels that we should have pity on this Pakistani immigrant family who turned to crime and murder, not adopting the Canadian way of life.

The mainstream media have talked about how nice a person Faisal Hussain was and how his friends could not believe that he would do this. However there are other media reports that he was a gang member and acted as a lookout for the gang. There are also reports that this gang has terrorist ties, yet again the mainstream media is not willing to publish these.

The Toronto chief of police would not issue a report stating that this was a terror attack yet they will not provide evidence that he was mentally ill.

Our prime minister was outraged when a muslim girl claimed that her hijab was cut as a terror crime, yet said nothing when the truth came out that the girl’s parents put her up to this and her hijab was not cut by persons unknown but her family, and he was silent for 10 days about this attack and then said little. Our federal government will not condemn this attack as what it was: a terror attack on the people of Canada.

What is left of this family should immediately be deported back to their native Pakistan showing compassion to the Canadian people, as this family does not deserve the Canadian way of life or our compassion.
