On Oct. 13, my wife and I were frantically searching for the Pattison Funeral parlour on South Railway Street.

We were stuck at the bottom of Fifth Street with no way to turn right. But lo and behold, there was a white half-ton with a very obliging citizen who said “follow me.”

So we did, and were able to go over to the Hill Street and back north on South Railway to Pattison’s. Thank you, thank you so much Medicine Hatter!
