Medicine Hat Tigers hockey over the past 16 months at Co-op Place has been nothing short of remarkable. The team, the crowds, the energy; night in and night out, these games serve as some of the largest public gatherings in Medicine Hat, and we’re continually proud to welcome you inside our doors.

At Co-op Place, we work hard to ensure all visitors experience exceptional customer service, great food and beverage offerings and exciting live entertainment. Some of our most recent successes can be attributed to our culinary team.

New to the venue this season is our Game Day Feature booth where you’ll find a new menu feature every game. This concourse activation has become a big hit and allows our Food and Beverage team to have fun with the menu and get creative. Occasionally selling out items, sometimes before the puck even drops, this offering is not going anywhere soon!

This coming Tuesday, Jan. 27, our Game Day Feature is Indigenous Fry Bread Tacos. Historically relevant to the region, fry bread (Bannock) has been a customary Indigenous food tradition for centuries. At the game we’ll be topping Bannock with seasoned beef, lettuce, tomatoes, onions, avocados, mixed cheese and sour cream. We’ll also give you the opportunity to learn more about the history of Bannock in Indigenous culture.

Also, back for another season is our Co-op Place Pre-Game Buffet, on select Saturdays during Tigers home games. This fresh, local, delicious option for pre-game palettes is an ongoing success, and will continue to be as the Tigers push for the WHL playoffs.

Our food and beverage team is not only providing excellent meal options for our fans, we have also seen great success in offering post-game meals for visiting WHL teams. Co-op Place was recently voted second-best in a league-wide player survey – and look out, Prince Albert – we’re coming for the top spot, both on the ice and in the kitchen!

If you want great entertainment, mouthwatering food, and an experience that is second to none, join us at an upcoming Tigers game. Use the ‘Plan Your Visit’ button at coopplace.ca to see our upcoming Game Day Features and Pre-Game Buffet menus.
