September 2021 officially marked 18 months since we had to close our doors and take a step back from the world we once knew. Not only did the shows stop, but the everyday life we were used to stopped. Things we didn’t even realize were a part of our routines; saying hi to coworkers every morning, seeing our volunteers numerous times a week, and watching our excited patrons at every event. Life was still and so were we… until now. Now we’re back and even better! When we reopened our doors, we also welcomed Co-op Place back into the city operations. We’ve joined forces and together are better than ever. September kicked off a new season at both venues and between Tigers hockey games, bull riding, on-stage shows, glow paint and improv nights, art classes, school tours and sold-out concerts, we’re picking up right where we left off. Our staff and volunteers share duties across both venues to ensure your experience is flawless, and we’re ready to have you back enjoying the entertainment and service that you’ve grown to love and expect! We hope our patrons know their health and safety is our top priority, and we want to make sure you feel safe and comfortable on your evening out. We’re here to ensure you have a wonderful experience from your first steps through the doors, right through to the moment you leave. So, take a look through TIXX.ca or visit one of our box offices located at the Esplanade or Co-op Place to learn about what’s new and upcoming. Say hello to our volunteers who would love to show you around our galleries or help you to your seat in the theatre. Grab a drink and reconnect with friends. Join us for live entertainment and let worries drift away. We’ve missed you! Krista Wilde is Guest Services Supervisor at the Esplanade 7
