PRINCE ALBERT, Sask. – Sloan Stanick scored three power-play goals as the Prince Albert Raiders defeated the visiting Brandon Wheat Kings 5-2 in Western Hockey League action on Saturday at the Art Hauser Centre.

Aiden Oiring and Turner McMillen also scored for the Raiders (27-26-1-3), who outshot the Wheat Kings 34-17.

Dominik Petr scored twice for the Wheat Kings (29-23-5-1). The teams were tied 1-1 after the first period and the Raiders took a 2-1 lead into the third.

The Raiders went 4-for-9 on the power play, while the Wheat Kings went 1-for-5.

RED DEER, Alta. – Kenta Isogai scored the game-winning goal at 3:20 of the third period as the visiting Wenatchee Wild edged the Red Deer Rebels 3-2.

Miles Cooper and Caelan Joudrey also scored for the Wild (30-23-4-0).

Frantisek Formanek and Samuel Drancak scored for the Rebels (29-20-2-6).

GIANTS 7 BLAZERS 1

LANGLEY, B.C. – Cameron Schmidt scored three times and Kyren Gronick chipped in with three assists as the Vancouver Giants blitzed the visiting Kamloops Blazers 7-1.

London Hoilett scored twice for the Giants (28-26-3-0), while Tyson Zimmer and Adam Titlbach netted singles. The Giants led 2-1 after the first period and 5-1 heading into the third.

KELOWNA, B.C. — Ondrej Becher scored the lone goal of a three-round shootout as the visiting Prince George Cougars edged the Kelowna Rockets 6-5.

Zac Funk scored three goals for the B.C. Division-leading Cougars (40-15-0-3), including his 56th of the season, while Hudson Thornton and Riley Heidt added singles. Heidt also chipped in with three assists.

Tij Iginla and Hiroki Gojsic each scored twice for the Rockets (26-28-3-1), while Iginla added two assists. Max Graham also scored for the Rockets, who were outshot 41-31.

SILVERTIPS 3 THUNDERBIRDS 1

SEATTLE, Wash. – Julius Miettinen had a goal and assist as the visiting Everett Silvertips defeated the Seattle Thunderbirds 3-1.

Austin Roest and Cade Zaplitny also scored for the Silvertips (38-18-2-2).

Eric Alarie scored for the Thunderbirds (19-34-2-0). Each team had 28 shots on goal.

MEDICINE HAT, Alta. – Connor Hvidston scored 73 seconds into overtime as the visiting Swift Current Broncos clipped the Medicine Hat Tigers 4-3.

Conor Geekie, Mathew Ward and Luke Mistelbacher also scored for the Broncos (32-19-4-2), who outshot the Tigers 37-32.

Gavin McKenna, Nate Corbet and Hunter St. Martin scored for the Tigers (33-18-5-2), who lead the Central Division by three points over the second-place Broncos.

VICTORIA, B.C. – Tyson Jugnauth scored a goal and added an assist as the visiting Portland Winterhawks defeated the Victoria Royals 5-2.

Carter Sotheran, Gabe Klassen, Nate Danielson and Diego Buttazzoni also scored for the U.S. Division-leading Winterhawks (39-14-2-1).

Tyson Laventure and Deegan Kinniburgh scored for the Royals (27-24-4-4).

KENNEWICK, Wash. – Carter MacAdams, Parker Bell and Jake Sloan each had a goal and assist as the Tri-City Americans defeated the visiting Regina Pats 5-3.

Brandon Whynott and Andrew Fan also scored for the Americans (22-32-2-1). Each team had 33 shots on goal.

Tye Spencer, Brayden Barnett and Sam Oremba scored for the Pats (21-31-4-2), who trailed 2-1 after the first period and 3-2 heading into the third.

SPOKANE, Wash. – Atley Calvert scored three goals and added two assists as the visiting Moose Jaw Warriors crushed the Spokane Chiefs 12-3.

Lynden Lakovic and Pavel McKenzie each had two goals and assist for the Warriors, while Denton Mateychuk, Brayden Schuurman, Martin Rysavy, Jagger Firkus and Matthew Savoie also scored for the Warriors (36-19-0-2). Rilen Kovacevic chipped in with four assists.
