All 3 Sr. HS football teams in action, set up matchups next week

The Monsignor McCoy Colts and Crescent Heights Vikings met in the fourth annual Rick Boksteyn bowl, in honour of the former coach and firefighter. The Vikings won the first three contests but the Colts took this one 30-14 at the Methanex Bowl. The Medicine Hat High Hawks, off an exhibition 29-3 win over Regina’s Lebouldus High School, face the Holy Trinity Academy Knights. Hat High enters the matchup as the No. 2 ranked 4A school, with HTA in first place. Next week, the Colts and Hawks face off on Sept. 13 at the Methanex Bowl. On the same night, the Vikings will face the Brooks Buffaloes on the road. 8-7
