High school football schedule released

@MedicineHatNews The 112th season of Alberta high school football got underway Friday with a series of non-conference games across the province, while local teams will get into action next week. The McCoy Colts will host the Brooks Buffaloes on Aug. 29 in Southern Alberta League play, according to a schedule posted Friday by Football Alberta. The same schedule sees the Medicine Hat High Hawks travel to Okotoks on Sept. 6 to meet Holy Trinity. The Crescent Heights Vikings face McCoy in exhibition on Sept. 6, then are in Brooks on Sept. 13. Initial rankings are due on Labour Day weekend. 6-5
