Local cross-fitters compete over weekend

Multiple teams of Medicine Hat Cross Fit athletes were in competition over the weekend.

A group of 10 cross fitters competed in Lethbridge, taking part in a one-day event, Pandamonium, hosted by CrossFit Framework.

Each team had to complete four workouts over the course of the day.

In the ladies scaled division, Hatters Kara Flaig and Chrissy Simper finished in first place.

In the men’s scaled division, Kaine Dick and Owen Simper also finished first.

Hieland Mayzes and Melissa Kallis finished second in the masters division, which features one male and one female competitor who have a combined age over 80.

In the men’s RX division, Garreth Macpherson and Mitchell Young finished first, and Tyler Garrecht and Jordan Carlier took second place.
