2024 LAX to the MAX lacrosse tournament this weekend

Medicine Hat and Western Canadian lacrosse talent is on display in the city this weekend.

The Medicine Hat Lacrosse Club is hosting the annual LAX to the MAX tournament at the Kinplex and Big Marble Go Centre.

The action got underway Friday and runs through Sunday, with 10 Medicine Hat teams on display, joined by 28 other teams from Alberta, Saskatchewan and British Columbia. There are five different age categories, with U9, U11, U13, U15 and U17 teams in action.

The play gets underway Saturday at 8 a.m. and runs until 8:30 p.m. and Sunday’s action gets started at 8 a.m. and runs until 2:45 p.m.
