Junior High athletics wrap up golf season Monday

The Medicine Hat Junior High Athletic Association wrapped up their golf season Monday.

The Jr. High organization had five golfers finish in the top-three of the boys and girls competitions.

Kellen Heddema from Notre Dame finished first with Mason Pollard of Notre Dame coming in second and Owen Romaniuk, also from Notre Dame, finishing in third.

Lillie Doud and Jenessa Weischorster, both from St. Mary’s, finished in first place in the girls competition. Rayne Bruins of St. Mary’s finished second and both Isabell Unreiner from Notre Dame and Briar Ferris of Alexandra tied for third.

Notre Dame took the team banner, with Irvine taking second and St. Mary’s finishing third.
