Medicine Hat’s Open C Force travelled to Rockyford for ringette provincials last weekend.

Their first game was Friday night against Calgary True North, falling 10-8.

Jurnee Elliot led the way with four goals, Raynah Gibney had two goals and single markers came from Kennedy Wilson and Abby Drozdz.

Saturday morning they played Calgary Volt, the Force scored with 0.2 seconds left to win 4-3. Elliot led the way again with three goals and Brooklynn Burzminski added a solo marker.

The Force needed a win over Calgary Comets to advance to the playoffs but fell short 6-3. Ami Dynes, Kaleigh McNeil and Elliot each scored.

Jordyn Clark and Kelcie Wilson split the goaltending duties as the Force finished fifth.

The Force finished off the ringette season for Medicine Hat ringette. Their AGM will be held at the Holiday Inn and Express Suites on April 24 at 7 p.m. where they will announce their association team name.
