The Tigers beat the Okotoks Oilers 2-0 in their best-of-three series with a 4-3 win March 13 and a 5-3 victory Saturday. Treyden Kleinknecht had a goal and two assists in the 4-3 win, with Elijah Fleck and Colby Gulliver each adding a goal and an assist. Randen Collier scored a solo marker and Kolter Gans made 37 saves. In Saturday’s series winner, Karter Kurpjuweit had two goals with an assist, Gulliver tallied a goal and an assist and both Kleinknecht and Tate Bowal scored solo markers. Kayne Wright made 41 saves. The U17AAA Tigers’ playoffs continue Wednesday with the first of a best-of-three against the Airdrie Avalanche. The Tigers host the Avalanche for Game 2 on Saturday at the Hockey Hounds arena and Game 3, if needed, would be Sunday. 7
