U13 Tier 2 Hounds advance to provincial tournament

The U13 Tier 2 Hounds are heading to provincial action this weekend.

The U13 Hounds advanced to the provincial tournament in Slave Lake this weekend, a week removed from securing the blue division banner.

The Medicine Hat U13 Tier 2 Hounds took second place in a round robin-style tournament on Sunday. After a 3-2 loss to Airdrie, the Hounds won against the Olds Grizzlies 4-1 and beat the Thorsby Bucks 13-3.

The Hounds have two weeks off until provincials, which take place in Slave Lake over the weekend of March 22-24.

The Hounds will face the other top teams from across the province in round-robin play with the top two coming out of round-robin to play for gold and third and fourth will play for bronze.
