AMAC and Waves swim clubs race at short course provincials

The Alberta Marlin Aquatic Club and the Waves Swim Club each had athletes race at the Swim Alberta’s short course Provincials in Edmonton this weekend.

AMAC

AMAC had nine swimmers race, here are their results.

Female 12 and under

Nayla Berg (12): Finished first in 100m Breast A Final, second in 200m Breast A Final, fifth in 200m IM Final, sixth in 50m Breast A Final and 100m IM A Final, 16th in 14 and under 200m Free A Relay, 17th in 14 and under 200m Medley A Relay, 28th in 100m Free and 33rd in 50m Free.

Breagh Kohlman (12): Finished fourth in 100m Breast A Final and 100m IM A Final, sixth in 200m Breast A Final, 11th in 50m Fly, 14th in 50m Breast, 16th in 14 and under 200m Free A Relay, 17th in 14 and under 200m Medley A Relay, 50th in 100m Free and 53rd in 50m Free.

Female 13-14

Lily McWilliams (13): Finished second in 200m Free A Final, seventh in 200m Back A Final, 10th in 400m Free, 11th in 800m Free, 14th in 50m Free, 16th in 14 and under 200m Free A Relay, 17th in 14 and under 200m Medley A Relay, 24th in 100m Free and 25th in 50m Back.

Aliya Seeley (14): Finished sixth in 400m IM, 14th in 800m Free, 16th in 400m Free and 14 and under 200m Free A Relay, 17th in 14 and under 200m Medley A Relay, 23rd in 200m Free, 39th in 100m Back, 42nd in 100m Free and 63rd in 50m Free.

Female 15 and over

Abigail Begin (16): Finished first in 100m IM A Final, second in 50m Back A Final, seventh in 50m Fly Prelim and sixth in the 50m Fly A Final, 14th in 100m Back, 18th in 100m Fly, 21st in 50m Free and 24th in 100m Free.

Jocelyn Macphail (17): Finished fourth in 50m Back A Final

sixth in 100m IM A Final and 200m Fly A Final, eighth in 50m Fly A Final, 10th in 100m Free, 11th in 100m Back and 19th in 50m Free.

Male 13 and under

Gage Anderson (12): Finished 21st in 100m IM, 22nd in 200m Back and 100m Back, 33rd in 50m Back, 34th in 100m Free and 200m Free and 71st in 50m Free.

Male 14-15

Wyatt Gage (15): Finished fifth in 50m Free A Final, sixth in 100m IM A Final, ninth in 100m Free, 10th in 50m Fly, 15th in 50m Back 20th in 100m Back and 50m Breast.

Male 16 and over

Johnathan Marshall (16): Finished fourth in 100m IM A Final, seventh in 100m Back A Final, eighth in 50m Free A Final, ninth in 50m Fly, 12th in 100m Free and 13th in 50m Back.

Next up for AMAC is long course Provincial Championships this weekend.

Waves

The Waves Swim Club had three athletes compete, here are their results.

Sophie Baht (F, 12): Finished fifth in 50m Breast, 13th in 100m Breast and 200m IM, 21st in 100m Free, 22nd in 200m Breast and 39th in 50m Free.

Kaden Goffinet (M, 15): Finished third in 200m Breast, fourth in 200m IM, fifth in 800m Free, sixth in 400m Free, seventh in 100m Breast and 200m Free and 10th in 50m Breast.

Isabel Miller (F, 11): Finished 28th in 200m Breast, 34th in 100m Breast, 36th in 50m Breast, 46th in 200m Free, 52nd in 50m Fly, 72nd in 100m Free and 76th in 50m Free.
