Jr High basketball teams win local championships

Four Medicine Hat junior high school basketball teams earned championship banners this week.

The St. Mary’s Girls A Basketball team won their first city championship in more than 20 years Wednesday night. They head to zones in Raymond this weekend.

All three Notre Dame Academy boys basketball teams won their leagues, capturing championship banners for their school.

The boys A team heads also to zones in Raymond this weekend.
