Cypress School of Skating competes in Lethbridge

The Cypress School of Skating competed over the weekend in Lethbridge.

The local school skated at the Frozen Fest competition on Saturday in Lethbridge.

Two skaters finished with gold medals, with Jewel Geldreich finishing first in the Star 3 Freeskate and Daisy Watt taking gold in the Creative program. They also took silver in Star 3 Freeskate.

The Cypress school came home with five silver medals and three bronze medals as well.

Reese Osmond picked up two silver medals, finishing second in the Star 2 Freeskate and the Creative program. Kaley Ruckaber took second place in the Star 3 Freeskate and Maddy Sullivan finished second in the Star 1 Elements Program.

Natalia Tschritter-Yanke took second place in the creative program and captured a bronze in the Star 2 Freeskate. Audra Sullivan also captured a bronze, finishing third in the Star 2 Freeskate.

Jas Gates took bronze in the Star 3 Freeskate.
