Tier 2 U15 Hounds capture silver

sports@medicinehatnews.com@MedicineHatNews The U15 Tier 2 Hounds were in a 16-team tournament in Moose Jaw this past weekend. The Hounds beat the Martinsville Pirates 5-1, the Moose Jaw Thrashers 4-0 and finished the round robin with a 1-1 tie against the Lanigan Pirates. On Sunday in the semifinals they defeated the Hanley Hawks 7-1, advancing themselves to the gold medal game against the Swift Current Eliminators. Swift Current took an early lead scoring two goals in the first 5 minutes of the game and the Hounds were unable to Score, falling 2-0 to take silver. 6-5
