A team of four local junior curlers returned home with a championship this weekend.
Team Miller – skip Ryker Miller, third Colby Sherwick, second Drinnan Mack, lead Linden Sherwick and along with coach Terry Devalter – competed in the Red Deer Servus Credit Union U18 Men’s Bonspiel this weekend.
The foursome clawed their way back after falling 6-0 thru three ends to win the B side Championship.
They entered the weekend as the eighth seed in the U18 division, finishing third out of the eight teams.
Team Miller was in action Tuesday night at Brooks against Team Prowler.
