Med Hat softball represented at Alberta Summer Games

Medicine Hat softball talented shined at the 2023 Alberta Summer Games over the weekend.

Medicine Hat Minor Softball was represented by 12 players and four coaches who were part of the Zone 1 team that won gold at the Summer Games held at Okotoks.

They went undefeated on the weekend, beating Zone 2 in the final.

The MHMSA representatives were players: Ryleigh Jackiw, Brooklyn Kustra, Brooke Watts, Taryn Brost, Jessa Krauss, Hally Pahl, Jazmin Yanke, Sydney Thompson, Adriene Campbell, Gracie Eddy, Bella Ferguson and Gracie Ulmer. The four MHMSA coaches were Josh Hudson, Hailey Hudson, Scott Kelly and Mia Kelly.

Two Medicine Hat softball teams have finished their seasons with some hardware. The U15B Thunder Red team won provincial gold, capturing the title in Camrose. The U19 Thunder won bronze at their provincial tournament held in Irma.
