Medicine Hat product and Tigers defenceman Josh Van Mulligen and forward Oasiz Wiesblatt were both invited and are skating at development camps following the NHL’s entry draft last week. Van Mulligen, who was draft eligible this summer, was invited to the Edmonton Oilers’ camp and is skating with their prospects. The 17, soon to be 18-year-old Van Mulligen had a goal and nine points in 68 games for the Tigers this season. Wiesblatt, who is entering his age-19 season in the WHL, is attending the Columbus Blue Jackets’ camp. The Calgary product was Medicine Hat’s leading scorer in the 2022-23 season, putting up 26 goals and 60 points in 68 games. 6
