Med Hat Jr. athletic association wraps up golf season

The Medicine Hat Junior High Athletic Association finished off its golf season last week.

Competitors played three tournaments over the course of the season at Cottonwood, Medicine Hat and Connaught, with Notre Dame taking the team competition, ahead of second place Irvine and third place Crescent Heights.

The girls individual champion was Meika Olund of Irvine, finishing ahead of Kennedy Boyd from Notre Dame who took second and Lillie Doud of St. Mary’s in third place.

The boys individual champion was Ari Cowan of Crescent Heights, with Owen Romaniuk of Notre Dame taking second and Carter Gilchrist, also of Notre Dame, taking third.
