Waves Swim Club attends Trex invitational over weekend

The Medicine Hat Waves swim club showcased their talents last weekend in Calgary.

The local swim club had 19 swimmers compete at the Trex Invitational hosted by UCSC at the University of Calgary over the weekend.

The Waves club results were:

Quinn Baht (8) Placed 31st in 100m back, 36th in 50m fly, 41th in 50m free and 43rd in 50m breast.

Sophie Baht (11) Placed third in 200m breast, fourth in 5m fly, eighth in 100m back and 11th in 200m free.

Rixtonn Biffart (8) Placed fifth in 50m free, sixth in 50m fly, eighth in 50m breast, 10th in 50m back, 14th in 100m free and 15th in 100m back.

Rowynn Biffart (14) Placed first in all of her races, 50m Free, 100m Free, 50m back, 100m Breast and 400m IM.

Matthew Daley (15) Placed second in 50m breast, fifth in 100m breast and 50m free, sixth in 50m fly and eighth in 100m free.

Kaden Goffinet (14) Placed second in 50m breast, 400m and 800m free, third in 100m free and fourth in 100m breast.

Elizabeth Humphreys (12) Placed eighth in 50m breast and 50m fly, 15th in both 50m and 100m free and 16th in 200m free.

Maja Kolodziej (12) Placed fourth in 200m free, seventh in 200m breast, ninth in 100m back and 100m free and 16th in 200m IM.

Sarah Kradovill (14) Placed first in 200m IM, 50m Breast, 50m Fly and 200m Free and second in 100m Free.

McKenna Lux (12) Placed 23rd in both 50m breast and 200m free, 32nd in 50m fly and 46th in 200m free.

Johnathan Marshall (16) Placed first in 200m IM, 50m and 100m back, second in 100m free and third in 50m fly.

Caleb Martin (8) Placed eighth in 200m free, ninth in 100m free, 11th in 50m free, 17th in 50m fly, 18th in 50m back and 19th in 100m back.

Isabel Miller (10) Placed fourth in 50m fly and 100m breast, fifth in 200m free, eighth in 200m IM, 13th in 100m back and 16th in 50m back.

Jonathan Miller (12) Placed fourth in 200m free, seventh in 50m back, 10th in 50m free and 18th in 50m fly and 100m free.

William Miller (14) Placed first in 400m free, 800m free, 100m back and 200m back, and second in 100m Free.

Lucy Pattison(7) Placed 25th in 100m breast, 33rd in 50m breast, 35th in 50m fly, 41st in 100m back and 48th in 50m back.

Ryes Pattison(9) Placed fourth in 50m breast, 10th in 100m breast, 17th in 100m back, 19th in 50m back and 20th in 50m free

Kage Senft(14) Placed fourth in 100m and 200m Free, 50m back and 50m fly.

Marsha Van der Merwe(8) Placed 26th in 50m fly, 33rd in 50m and 100m free, 42nd in 100m back and 50th in 50m back.
