Local middle schools compete in track and field zones

sports@medicinehatnews.com@MedicineHatNews MHJHAA schools participated in the South Zone Jr High Athletic Association Track and Field Meet held on 30 May 2023. MHJHAA athletes set two zone records with Edward Hicks from Ecole les Cypres setting the record in the boys 100 m hurdles with a time of 14.23 seconds (beating the previous record of 14.83 seconds set in 2007). The Notre Dame 4Ã – 400 meter open girls team also set a zone record with a time of 4:48:84 minutes (beating the previous record of 4:48:35 set in 2019).
