sports@medicinehatnews.com@MedicineHatNews Medicine Hat’s Twist & Flip Gymnastics put on a show at the Mountain Magic Invitational in Okotoks. The local gymnastics club sent nine female athletes to the 2023 Invitational on Thursday and Friday, bringing home a combined 14 Medals and 15 Ribbons. Twist & Flip Gymnastics’ Level 3 athletes consisted of Evan Stinson (11), Adrianna Dewar (9), Lauren Pancoast (9) and Tenley Aberle (9). Stinson placed first on beam, second on Floor and fifth All-Around. Dewar placed fifth on beam, seventh on floor and 11th All-Around. Pancoast placed first on beam and floor, third on vault, fourth on Bars and first All-Around. Aberle placed first on beam, third on bars, fourth on vault and floor and third All-Around. Arianna Mori (6), Brooke Moreton (6), Phoenix Hale (7), Brooklyn Thomlinson (7), and Myla Aberle (7) represented as Level 2 athletes in their respective age categories. Mori placed second on beam, third on floor and third All-Around. Myla Aberle placed second on floor and third All-Around. Moreton placed eighth on floor and 12th All-Around. Hale placed seventh on floor and 11th All-Around. Thomlinson placed ninth on floor and 12th All-Around. Twist & Flip’s Level 3 athletes will be competing at the Alberta Compulsory Championships this Saturday in Airdrie. 9
