Tigers select two forwards in WHL U.S. Priority draft

The Medicine Hat Tigers supplemented their forward prospects with two selections in the WHL U.S. draft on Wednesday.

The Tigers used both their ninth overall and 31st picks on forwards in the draft prioritized on 2008-born players who will play in the United States next season.

With the ninth overall selection, the Tigers drafted Shaeffer Gordon-Carroll from the Chicago Mission 14U AAA. The 14-year-old Salt Lake City, Uta. product had eight goals and 20 points in 15 games for the Mission this season.

With their next selection, 22 picks later, the Tigers picked Noah Davidson of the Los Angeles Jr. Kings 14U AAA. The 14-year-old California product had 60 goals and 107 points in 51 games for the Jr. Kings this season.

The Tigers will be back on the draft clock Thursday morning at 10 a.m. with the ninth overall pick in the WHL prospects draft.
