AMAC Swim Club competes in provincial trials South over weekend

The Alberta Marlin Aquatic Club took part in the provincial trials South qualifying meet hosted by Swim Alberta in Calgary over the past weekend.

Here are their results:

Female 11-12

Lily McWilliams (12): She finished 11th in 50m Free, 19th in 200m Free, 21st in 200m IM, 24th in 100m Free, 29th in 100m Breast, 32nd in 50m Back and 35th in 50m Breast.

Female 13-14

Kora Kurpjuweit (14) achieved three new best times, finishing 15th in 100m IM, 28th in 50m Fly, 29th in 200m Free, 29th in 100m Fly, 33rd in 50m Back, 43rd in 50 m Free and 49th in 100m Free.

Female 15-17

Jocelyn Macphail (16) achieved six new best times and registered a provincial championship time in 50m back earning her a third place finish in finals. She also placed sixth in 100m Back, seventh in 100m IM, ninth in 100m Free, 13th in 50m Free, 14th in 50m Fly and 19th in 100m Fly.

Next up for AMAC swim club is provincial championships in Edmonton this weekend where five qualified AMAC swimmers will be attending.
