Téa Pearce played a big role in the Team Alberta women’s hockey team’s opening game at the Canada Winter Games on Monday.

The South Alberta Hockey Academy forward had both of Alberta’s goals, even though they ultimately fell 3-2 in a shootout against Nova Scotia on Monday.

On Tuesday, Team Alberta faced off against Manitoba and shut them out them 3-0. Neither Pearce or Kendal Davidson got on the scoreboard in that game.

Alberta’s (1-1) takes on undefeated Ontario today at 4:30 p.m.
