AMAC swim club competes in Lethbridge over weekend

The Alberta Marlin Aquatic Club attended the Pronghorn Classic Swim meet this weekend.

The club had 45 swimmer competing at the meet hosted by LASC at the Max Bell Regional Aquatic Center in Lethbridge. Swimmers competed in a mix of long course (LC) 50 m pool and Short Course (SC) 25 m pool events.

Swimmer results are as follows.

Female 10 & Under

Abigail Holden (10): Finished fourth in 200 m B Relay (SC), seventh in 100 m Free (SC), seventh in 50 m Back (LC), 14th in 100 m Back (SC), 14th in 50 m Free (LC), 15th in 100 m Back (LC)and 18th in 100 m Free (LC).

Amelia Grisak (8): Finished 11th in 100 m Free (SC), 14th in 50 m Breast (LC), 18th in 100 m Back (SC), 21st in 100 m Free (LC) and 22nd in 50 m Free (LC).

Carleigh Gainsborough (9): Finished second in 50 m Breast (LC), second in 100 m Back (LC), third in 100m Breast (SC), fourth in 200 m Free B Relay (SC), fifth in 100 m Breast (LC), seventh 100 m Free (LC) and in ninth 50 m Free (LC).

Charlotte Kurpjuweit (10): Finished second in 200 m Free A Relay (SC), third in 50 m Back (LC), fifth in 100 m Back (LC), eighth in 100 m Back (SC), eighth in 50 m Free (LC) and ninth in 100 m Breast (LC).

Emily Carter (10): Finished first in 100 m Breast (LC), second in 100 m Breast (SC), second in 200 m Free A Relay (SC), third in 50 m Breast (LC), seventh in 100 m Back (SC), seventh in 50 m Free (LC), ninth in 100 m Back (LC) and 10th in 100 m Free (LC).

Holly Mulligan (10): Finished 10th in 100 m Free (SC), 11th in 100 m Free (LC), 11th in 50 m Back (LC), 11th in 100 m Back (LC), 15th in 50 m Free (LC) and 16th in 100 m Back (SC).

Isabela Josey (9): Finished fourth in 200 m Free B Relay (SC), eighth in 100 m Breast (SC), ninth in 100 m Free (SC) and 12th in 50 m Back (LC).

Isabelle McWilliams (8): Finished fourth in 200 m Free B Relay (SC), 10th in 100 m Breast (SC), 12th in 100 m Breast (LC), 13th in 100 m Back (SC), 13th in 50 m Breast (LC), 13th in 100 m Back (LC), 17th in 100 m Free (LC) and 20th in 50 m Free (LC).
