South Alberta Hockey Academy’s U18 male prep team had a winning weekend on the road. SAHA beat RHA Winnipeg 4-3 on Saturday and shut out Pilot Mound Hockey Academy 7-0 on Sunday for their 18th win of the Canadian Sport School Hockey League season. Against RHA Winnipeg, Gavin McKenna led the way with two goals and an assist, with Kade Duell adding SAHA’s other two goals. Ryan Miller had three assists and Zach Zahara made 41 saves to collect the win. In Sunday’s victory, Owen Pettipas stopped all 17 shots he faced for his second shutout of the season. McKenna had three goals and an assist, captain Elias Eisenbarth added two goals and an assist and Kade Duell had a goal and a helper. Hunter O’Neal also scored in the win. The SAHA men’s team (18-6-0-2) have two road games this weekend, facing OHA Edmonton on Saturday and Northern Alberta Xtreme on Sunday. 7
