The South Alberta Hockey Academy women’s team continues to make commitment history.

The Dunmore based Hockey Academy announced Friday forward Téa Pearce has committed to play for St. Francis Xavier University next season. She is the first SAHA athlete to commit to a U Sports program.

Pearce, a product of Calgary, has played two seasons with SAHA, scoring 20 goals and 43 points in 39 games.

She is the second post-secondary commitment SAHA’s women’s team has had this season, following defender Kendal Davidson who committed to play NCAA Div. I hockey for Union College in New York.
