U15AAA SEAC Tigers end round robin with tie

The Medicine Hat U15AAA SEAC Tigers were 3:58 away from ending their round robin in first place of the 49th Hockey Hounds tournament.

Kade Dickie scored late in the third period to give SEAC a 3-2 lead before St. George’s Academy tied it up at 3-3, the eventual final score.

Both SEAC and St. George’s finished their round robins with records of 2-0-1, with the Academy finishing in first place of the blue division after goal differential tiebreakers.

Illya Khazov and Kingston Chisholm each scored for SEAC Friday night and Grady Brost made 32 saves in the draw. The Tigers came into the game after beating OHA Edmonton Varsity 5-1 Friday morning.

SEAC will face Pilot Mound Academy, who finished in first place in the white division, Saturday at the Kinplex at 10:30 a.m.
