PBR Canada rolled into Medicine Hat on Saturday night and brought an evening of entertainment in the penultimate event of their 2022 Canada Cup Series.
On Saturday night at Co-op Place, PBR Canada hosted the Robertson Implements Classic that was capped off with Brock Radford going a perfect two-for-two to win the Classic and jump to No. 3 in the battle to be crowned the 2022 PBR Canada Champion.
Radford edged out Nick Tetz for first place Saturday night, putting him 40 points off first place in the national standings, occupied by Tetz. After travelling to Medicine Hat, No. 2 in Canada Tetz, 54.5 points behind the top-ranked rider, jumped to the No. 1 position in the nation and he leads an injured No. 2 Logan Biever by a slim 2.5 points.
The final rider to be flawless in Medicine Hat, 2017 PBR Canada Rookie of the Year Coy Robbins, finished his night in third, netting 43 national points.
Maple Creek’s Jared Parsonage was not able to reach the eight-second mark in his first ride of the night, missing out on the championship round.
Following a one-week break, the 2022 PBR Canada Sup Series, will travel to Saskatoon on Oct. 28 and 29 for the PBR Saskatoon Classic.
