The U15AA SEAC Tigers fell in their lone game of the weekend.
The Tigers hosted the Wheatland Warriors at the Kinplex on Sunday afternoon and lost 8-2.
Mavric Ward and Jackson Brassard had the SEAC Tiger offence, with Mac Harvey-Zenk making 22 saves in defeat.
The U15AAA SEAC Tigers dropped both contests this weekend, falling 6-5 to the Lethbridge Val Matteoti Golden Hawks on Saturday, and 6-3 to the Okotoks Oilers on Sunday.
Theron Bensler led the way offensively with two goals, while Nixon Kunkel, Kingston Chisholm and Ty Wasyluk added a goal each. Grady Brost and Hudson Corbett split duties between the pipes with a combined 32 saves.
In Sunday’s loss against Okotoks, Elijah Fleck and Bensler each had a goal and an assist, and Kingston Chisholm rounded out the scoring with a goal of his own. Brost made 39 saves in the loss.
The U15AA SEAC Tigers’ (0-5) next action is this weekend with a two-game home set against the Calgary Bisons and Airdrie Xtreme on Saturday and Sunday.
U18
The U18AA Medicine Hat Hounds had two games over the weekend and fell in both contests. The Hounds lost 10-2 against the Foothills Bisons on Friday evening. Conner Palmer and Trae Gow scored in the loss and Tyler Wakelam and Owen Gudmundson split duties in net with a combined 38 saves. In Sunday’s contest the Hounds lost 5-3 to the Strathmore Wheatland Chiefs. Blake Dosenberger, Hayden King and Gavin Smith scored in the loss and Wakelam had 39 saves.
The U18AA Medicine Hat Hounds (1-3) have two games this weekend as they host the NWCAA Stamps Friday night at the Kinplex before hitting the road Sunday to face the CBHA Hawks.
U17
The U17AAA SEAC Tigers lost their only game of the weekend, as they fell 4-3 to the AC Avalanche on Saturday.
Cash Olson and Kellin Hodgson had a goal and an assist with Garrett Janzen rounding out the scoring with one goal of his own. Kolter Gans made 25 saves in the loss.
The SEAC Tigers (1-1) have two contests on the docket this weekend as they host the Parkland Saints on Saturday and the Calgary Bulls on Sunday, both at the Hockey Hounds arena.
U16
The U16AA Medicine Hat Hounds ended their weekend on a positive note with a 6-3 win over the Lethbridge Hurricanes on Sunday after drawing with a 5-5 tie on Saturday against the West Central Panthers.
Nolen Sutherland scored two goals in the tie to lead the offence. Leighton Verishine had a goal and an assist for Medicine Hat, and Grady Hudec and Grady Ford each had a goal. Austin Murphy and Colby Motz each had two assists and Adam Ranger made 17 saves in the draw.
Hudec led the Hounds offence in their 6-3 win Sunday with a goal and two assists. Owen Gustafson picked up three assists, Verishine and Kian Green each had a goal and an assist and Austin Murphy, Sutherland and Ford rounded out the scoring with a goal each. Parker McLaughlin was between the pipes for the Hounds and had 22 saves.
The U16AA Medicine Hat Hounds aren’t in action again until Nov. 5 and 6.
U13
The U13AA Medicine Hat Hounds picked up the win in their game this weekend, beating the Foothills Bisons 14-3.
Evander Leupold had three goals and two assists and Carter Gilchrist had two goals and three assists to lead the offence with five points each.
Lucas Fisher had three goals and an assist, Chase Droeske had three goals, Carter Jarvis had two goals and an assist and Everett Ward added a goal and two assists.
Braden Tschritter had 26 saves in the Hounds win. The Hounds (5-0) next action is Saturday when they host the Red Deer Parkland at the Hockey Hounds arena.
