Rattlers soccer falls to Kodiaks on Friday

The Medicine Hat College Rattlers soccer teams were held off the scoresheet Friday afternoon.

The Rattlers men’s and women’s soccer teams hosted the Lethbridge Kodiaks at the College to open a weekend of home contests.

The Rattlers women’s team opened the afternoon with a 3-0 shutout loss to Lethbridge. Allyssa Heidel had nine saves in the defeat. The men’s game followed afterwards and had the same result as the Kodiaks beat the Rattlers 3-0 on their home field. Netminder Maksymilian Slaweta had eight saves in the loss.

Both the Rattlers men’s and women’s teams are back in action Sunday when they host the Ambrose Lions at the College.

The women’s game gets underway at noon with the men’s getting started at 2 p.m.
