MedHat Lawn Bowling wraps up singles league

The Medicine Hat Lawn Bowling club brought its singles league season to a close Saturday with its championships.

On the ladies side, Yvonne Sanregret won her first ladies championship, in her first year with the club, with an 11-8 win over two-time defending champ Barb Moll.

In the men’s singles competition, Curt Moll won his third men’s championship, but first since 2017, with an 11-7 win over Doug Sanregret.

Sanregret defeated Steve Bezanson 13-3 in the semi finals, and Curt won a squeaker of a match against Mike Gilchrist 12-11 in their semi final.

Gilchrist won the bronze medal with a 14-10 win over Steve Bezanson.

The lawn bowling club’s season comes to a close Saturday with their year end tournament.
