The Mavericks runs came from SS Ranciel Ventura scoring on a wild pitch, a bases loaded walk from LF Christian Rush, a sac fly from CF Braden DeSonia and 2B Deon Reese scoring on an 57’s error. Nate Ewing worked the bottom of the eighth inning on the mound for Medicine Hat and held the 57’s at bay.
