MedHat Speedway hosts Border Challenge

The Medicine Hat Speedway held its Border Challenge Invitational Saturday at the race track.

The overall day winner for the invitational was Trevor Neigum in the Streets competition and Jon Rissling in the Hobby Stock.

Ethan Guest won the Rocky Mtn. Equipment Hobby Stocks race with Patrick Steffen finishing second and Lane Meier in third.

The David GMC Elite Streets race went to Neigum, who finished first with Jason Woichicowski and Curtis Bigelow falling into second and third place.

Marcus Hieb won the Just Smok’n  Rumble Bees race with Kevin Hieb finishing second and Levi Sergeant third.

The Relay/SJ Trucking Baby Grands race was won by Ross Statham with Karlen Deschner finishing in second place and Dave Deschner third in the race.

The speedway’s next race day is Aug. 6.
