MedHat Lawn Bowling hosts Canada Day tourney

The Medicine Hat Lawn Bowling Club held a Canada Day Triples tournament Friday.

There were six teams competing in what was their first Canada Day tournament in five years.

The Burniston Family trophy winners were:

Wes Bresee (skip), Doug Sanregret (vice-skip) and Jim Clegg (lead) who defeated the team of Barb Moll (skip), Pat Dennis (vice-skip), and Yvonne Sanregret (lead) 11-6 in the tournament final. 

In the bronze medal game the team of Curt Moll, Frank Buck, and Sam Ferrier defeated Linda Bower, Gerry Aitken, Roz Fisher, and Pat Ferrier.
