MHC Rattlers announce new soccer/futsal associate coach

The Medicine Hat College Rattlers announced a new member of their coaching staff Wednesday.

In a press release and on their social medias, the Rattlers announced the hiring of Damir Omerovic as an associate coach for the Rattlers men’s and women’s soccer/futsal programs.

Omerovic, A Medicine Hat resident originally from Bosnia, is a former Rattlers soccer standout who also played for the Bosnian Under 21 National team.

The Rattlers say his ties to the region will help in the recruitment and retention of local soccer talent.

They also say there will be a further soccer coaching announcement coming in the following days.

The Rattlers former soccer/futsal head coach Miles Pinsent resigned from the position June 9 citing a desire to move closer to family. Pinsent was with the Rattlers for one season.
