Moll, Gilchrist take lawn bowling championship

The Medicine Hat Lawn Bowling Club held their second annual Dave Dennis Memorial Tournament Saturday.

The tournament was a singles competition where competitors could play all over the green rather than stay in their own rink. Competitors used two bowls and games were to 11.

On the women’s side, Barb Moll won the championship game with a 11-9 win over Roz Fisher. Linda Bower took the bronze game.

On the men’s side, Mike Gilchrist took gold with an 11-6 win over Curt Moll. 

Wes Bresee took the bronze game.
