Hatters take home multiple golds at weekend drag race

Medicine Hat was well represented on the podium at the Father’s Day race this weekend.

Friday night, Bernice Fenturor from the Hat won the Street Friday event ahead of Ryan Siminiuk from Medicine Hat.

Medicine Hat’s Gerald Beatch won the Friday Night Bike event with Adam Hettler from Calgary taking second.

Medicine Hat’s Paxton Frey opened Saturday by taking first in the Jr. Thunder event ahead of Saxyn Schaufle from Desert Blume.

Morgan Caron from High River won the Jr. Lightning event ahead of Kiandra Gaetz from the Hat.

The Jr. Street event was a Cypress County affair with Luke Munsch taking first and Paige Munsch finishing second.

Ryan Valk from Medicine Hat won the Sportsman event with Teagen Thorpe, also from the Hat finishing in second place.

Medicine Hat’s Chance Edelmann won the Pro event with Monty Beagle from High River finishing second.

Rachelle Fleck from Medicine Hat took first place in the Super Pro event with Morgan Caron from High River taking second place.

Calgary’s Adam Hettler won the Pro Bike event with Zach Toth from the Hat finishing second.
