Canadian Super trucks race through MedHat

The Medicine Hat speedway brought race fans together for Father’s Day weekend.

The Speedway held the Roy Wigley Memorial Race on Saturday with the Canadian Super Truck Racing Series and its five main events.

Levi Sergeant took first in the Just Smoke’s Rumblebees main event with Kevin Hieb taking second place.

Shawn Lowe won the Davis GMC Elite Streets event with Jason Woichicowski finishing second.

In the Rocky Mountain Equipment Hobbies event, Ethan Guest took first place as Shane Goldie finished second.

Dave Deschner won the Relay/SJ Trucking Baby Grands, Ross Statham took second place.

Chase Stievenart took first place gateway Trailer Repair Cupcars race with Ethan Skolarchuk taking second.

In the final event of the night, Super Trucks, Dusty O’ Connell took first and Brian Sparks finished second.

The speedway’s next event is the Sun City Ford Race Day on July 9.
