MedHat Boxing competes in Battle of Prairies

The Medicine Hat Boxing Club was in action last weekend in Regina.

The club attended the Battle of the Prairies on Friday with two fighters. Nate Vossler lost to the host club’s Jack Senga (Lonsdale Boxing) in the 54 Kg. Jr. B division.

Porter Ostrowski defeated Sidney John Jr. from Kopas Boxing in Saskatoon in the 80 Kg. Jr. C division. Medicine Hat boxing coach Kerry Fahlman said Porter is working hard to make Team Alberta for the 2023 Canada Winter Games in Charlottetown, P.E.I., and will compete in box-offs to make the team this fall.
