Injury forces Watson to stop ’22 race season

A back injury suffered before the 2020 Olympic Summer Games will pull Sage Watson off the track.

The Seven Persons’ product announced on Facebook Monday she is stepping back from racing this season to “fully recover and give my body the break it needs and deserves.”

Watson said she injured her back a month and a half out from the Olympics and did everything she could to get ready, but didn’t have the Olympics she wanted.
