Rattlers soccer/futsal coach resigns Thursday

By MEDICINE HAT NEWS on June 10, 2022.

Medicine Hat Soccer and the Rattlers will be looking for a new boss.

The Medicine Hat College Rattlers announced Thursday afternoon that Miles Pinsent, Medicine Hat College soccer/futsal head coach and Medicine Hat Soccer Association executive director, has resigned from both positions.

Pinsent cited a desire to move back to New Brunswick to be closer to his family as the reason for his departure that begins June 30.

In a statement, the Rattlers said the partnership between MHC and the Medicine Hat Soccer Association will continue and the search for a new coach will begin immediately.

“We would like to thank Coach Pinsent and we wish him the best in his future endeavours,” the statement read.

Pinsent was on the job for a little over a year after being hired by the Rattlers and MHSA on April 12, 2021.
